Maria Martin-Goula
Maria Martin-Goula is passionate about Social Justice and organizational Processes and has over ten years of experience developing global programs in non-profit and for-profit organizations.
Maria earned her BA in Political Science and a Degree in Labor Relations in 2008 from Universitat Aut de Barcelona and in 2016 graduated from Yale University with a Master of Arts in Religion focusing on Immigration and Gender.
Maria started her Human Resources career at Tax Consultancy working with small businesses in Barcelona. In 2005 she joined the United Nations Association in Spain, contributing to the design, organization, and execution of multicultural youth conferences such as the Catalonia Model United Nations (C’MUN). In 2010, Maria moved to the US to work as Model United Nations (MUN) Coordinator at the World Federation of United Nations Associations in New York. Maria also has experience implementing grassroots programs focusing on empowering Latina women and providing them with tools to navigate the job market as Adult Educator and Organizer at East Boston Ecumenical Community Center (EBECC). In 2019, Maria returned to the private sector and currently manages Operations and Human Resources at Pledge Therapeutics.
In addition, Maria collaborates with educational organizations and works with leaders and entrepreneurs, coaching and consulting on issues such as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Immigration, and Social Justice.
