Cedar Pruitt

 

Cedar Pruitt, Ed.M is a Senior Consultant on staff at IBIS since 2015, is passionate about racial equity and justice. She specializes in facilitation, strategic business development and executive coaching, and has  over two decades of expertise in developing innovative, meaningful and inclusive workplace culture. She holds a Master of Education from Harvard University and a B.A. in Media and Culture Studies from Hampshire College, and is founder of CharlesBank Consulting. She is a Leadership Circle Profile™ Certified Coach, a Zappos Insights™ Certified Culture Revolutionary, a participant in the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and graduate of the Interaction Associates Facilitative Leadership program.

Cedar has developed in-house professional development strategy, created competency models for organizations large and small, facilitated immersive leadership development programming, designed educational curricula and written and implemented values, mission and visions that resonate and stick with employees.

She also has experience founding and running corporate citizenship and integrated philanthropy programming as part of her work in helping employees make meaningful connections to organizational vision and mission statements. In addition to her consulting work, Cedar’s in-house experience includes cultural leadership at athenahealth, the Educational Development Center, Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard and the Kennedy School of Government.
