Interactive & Engaging
IBIS develops state-of-the-art online diversity e-learning programs that take learners beyond traditional “point and click” to intelligent and thought-provoking interactions. Forget boring multiple-choice questions; IBIS e-learning activities include create-your-own diversity profile, an inclusion-rating meter, thought bubbles, simulated telephone and email exchanges, photo-novellas, interactive globes with regional statistics, and more.
IBIS partners with client teams to tailor e-learning content, style, technology and implementation to fit each unique culture. We identify challenges and strengths through cross-functional interviews, surveys, and focus groups, and involve our client partners in decisions in every phase of development. Customization can also include aligning the content to the client’s organizational competencies, building the business case, and integrating D&I with organizational strategy. Video footage is often taken at our clients’ locations to ensure that employees connect with the material.
Our e-learning courses include animation, audio narration, character voices and a variety of engaging visuals and interactions. All our customized scenarios are designed to reflect the client’s workplace; while many clients opt for video, others choose one of our many other creative formats, such as graphic novels, still photo novellas, or still-motion animation.
We take inclusion in our courses seriously, and that means making them accessible to as many people as possible. Many of the courses we have developed for major global firms and government agencies comply with US Section 508 and WCAG accessibility guidelines, and can be used with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
We have many years of experience integrating our e-learning courseware into many of the leading proprietary and open source learning management systems, including Saba, Plateau, SumTotal, Adobe Connect, Articulate Online, Moodle, Dokeos, Sharepoint, IntraLearn, Xerceo, KnowledgeWorks, and others. Our courseware adheres to common e-learning standards – including AICC, SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 and TinCan API.
We have the capacity to translate our courseware into various languages. Examples of previous translations include Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch, German, Italian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
Diversity e-learning courses from IBIS are easily accessed on mobile devices such as tablets and iPads.
