Alex Suggs, M.B.A.
Alex Suggs is a consultant and the lead researcher at IBIS. She comes from a strong background of marketing and design. Through an intrinsic desire to form a career around social impact, she opted to pursue an MBA at Boise State University where she worked as a Graduate Assistant for the Responsible Business Initiative at the College of Business and Economics. In this capacity, she headed the development of the College’s Inclusive Excellence Strategy, laying out the College’s plan for diversity and inclusion initiatives, engaging both the internal stakeholders as well as the Idaho business community. Much of the work that was accomplished at the college is now being translated to the rest of the university. Through this role she received the 2018 Outstanding Graduate Award, the highest honor given by the college to less than 1% of graduates, as well as recognized as a Boise State University Student Leader. She is now one of the go-to people for diversity and inclusion in Boise. She is energized by courageous conversations and operating through a design-thinking lens, engaging in a human-centered approach with empathy as a key aspect in approaching challenges.
Alex obtained a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration and four additional minors from the College of Idaho and her MBA from Boise State University.
