
Cross-cultural Training
This one day program aims at increasing cross-cultural competence -- those behaviors, skills and knowledge required for working with people from different cultures. The program begins with an exploration of the notion of culture. The Ibis Model of Cultural Differences helps participants understand key dimensions of culture such as orientation to time, communication, space, hierarchy and power, and managing conflict. Case studies assist them to integrate their understanding of cultural differences into project management, teamwork and communication with employees.
