Our Approach

Ibis takes a systems approach to diversity/cultural competency assessments for hospitals and healthcare systems. Using the Office of Minority's Health CLAS (Culturally & Linguistically Appropriate Standards) and the Joint Commission's Cultural Competency Standards, Ibis assesses the following areas:

The data is used to develop a strategic plan which provides the organization a roadmap for bridging the gaps based on best and emerging practices from leading healthcare providers.
